Study of the profile of Latin American officials in social media.

The study reveals that largest municipalities in the region have institutionalized the use of digital tools in the public administration. They use Facebook, YouTube and Twitter (in that order) and rely on teams composed mostly of young people, specialized in the digital communication of the municipality. However, this communication has not reached the interaction potential that social media has to offer.
