Uruguay’s government has become a global benchmark in digital development and leads us to the question: How could they achieve this tremendous progress? For example, by the end of 2020, 100% of the procedures to be carried out by citizens and businesses will be available online. Part of the country’s strategy was creating the Social Innovation Laboratory in Digital Government in 2015.
